Scope and Contents

Two handwritten and signed letters. One of the items is dated Dec. 13, 1879 and is addressed to the editors of "The Economist" in Boston. It is a request for securing aid and cooperation of "eastern capitalists" in the development of a mining property in Utah. The other item is dated April 10, 1883 and describes the progress of mines being developed in Montana.
