Handwritten pages detailing the Phelps family history and the story of Phelps' initial contact with Mormonism. The manuscript pages are numbered through 20 with pages 7-16 missing. Family history includes birthdates and spouses of brothers and sister. Note at end of document in another hand indicates that some dates are inaccurate and that Maxine Phelps Lines of Mesa, Arizona is in control of additional information.

Biographical History
Mormon pioneer and patriarch. Phelps came to Alpine, Utah in 1851 and was a pioneer settler of Montpelier, Idaho in 1864.
