Jemima Elizabeth Child Stookey autobiography
Scope and Contents
Typewritten copy of a handwritten autobiography. Mrs. Stookey was born in London, England, in 1827. As a baby, she came to the United States with her family. She was converted to the Mormon Church in 1852 and married Enos Stookey that same year. She came to Utah with her husband in 1855 and later settled in Clover, Utah, in Tooele County. The document was written in 1891 and amended by the author in 1911. It was copyrighted in 1971.
