Scope and Contents note

Five Eagle Forum reports from Phyllis Schlafly, published by The Eagle Trust Fund. The reports relate what goes on in public schools, recent actions taken by the government and calls for more parental involvement in education, dated 1989-1990. One is still sealed in its envelope.

Biographical History

Phyllis Schlafly was born 15 August 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri. The mother of six, she is an attorney and a conservative political activist. Her biggest platforms have been against equal rights amendments and feminist views. She founded the Eagle Forum and the Eagle Forum Education & Legal Defense Fund in 1972 and remains in the office of their president today.
