Collection includes the manuscript and several other drafts of Selvoy Jarrett Boyer's life history, entitled My Life Story. Dated 1969-1981. Selvoy discusses his early life at home, marriage, and his mission to England. He mentions David O. McKay, his mission president, and James E. Talmage, his second mission president.

Biographical History

Selvoy Jarrett Boyer was born 6 February 1897 in Springville, Utah, Utah, to John S. Boyer, Jr. and Susannah Bailey Jarrett. He married Mary Gladys Sessions on 29 January 1919 in Manti, Utah. He married second to Agnes Reynolds Mackay on 22 November 1967. Selvoy died 24 February 1985 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.
