Administrative History

The People's Church of Salt Lake City was organized 17 December 1897. A visiting Californian, Dr. N. F. Ravalin, was chosen as pastor while other positions were given to the more-prominent citizens of Salt Lake City in attendance. The People's Church declared itself a community of those who had moved beyond the contemporary religious thought, yet also wanted to avoid being labeled non-church goers. There is no record of the Church after 1899.

Biographical/Historical note
