A family history of the Peter and Mary Johnson Shumway family, compiled by Ruth Shumway Robinson and Gary Lee Shumway, including oral history interviews conducted between 1970 and 1976, many on the subject of Blanding, Utah. In addition it contains many photocopied pictures and documents as well as biographical sketches and compiled lineages. Bound manuscript, 339 pages.

Biographical History

Ruth Shumway Robinson was born 14 March 1900 in Fruitland, New Mexico, to Peter Minnerly and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Shumway. She married Paul Asbury Robinson on 29 September 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She had three children. Ruth died 9 July 1993 in Napa, California.

Biographical History

Gary Lee Shumway was born 21 January 1930 in Blanding, San Juan, Utah. He married Sandra Jean Butler on 26 May 1961 in Manti, Sanpete, Utah. He has four children.
