A letter from April 23, 1867. A Parsee writes to William Hepworth Dixon, author of New America. New America is a book about the Salt Lake Community, with many chapters on marriage and polygamy. Dixon mentioned the Parsees as an example of a group that practices polygamy. The Parsee says that his people do not practice polygamy.
