Scope and Contents note
The original manuscript for the book, Testimonies of the Divinity of the Church, with his hand-written notes, additions, and editing. Also includes a six page documentation about the series of events that led from Cardon's idea to compile testimonies of a letter written to President Joseph F. Smith asking for approval for the project, which was initially done in The Liahona. Also includes a copy of the text of a letter from Joseph F. Smith giving his approval. Two signatures, mission presidents Nephi Jenson and George McCune, are included in the testimonies submitted to Cardon. The entries after McCune's were presumably included after the manuscript was typed and added before publication. The manuscript has some browning of pages, but it is in good condition.
