Scope and Contents

Collection contains transcribed interviews of 93 different people conducted by the Voices of Remembrance Foundation at Dixie State College, bound in seven volumes. The interviews occurred between 1968 to 1980, and the transcriptions produced through grant funding by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies.

Voices of Remembrance Foundation (est. 1960) is a non-profit historical organization in Washington County, Utah.

The Voices of Remembrance Foundation is a non-profit organization sponsored by Dixie State College of Utah. Formed in the 1960s, the Foundation sent interviewers out to tape record interviews with people who were aged 60 or older. Focusing mainly on their spiritual memories, the interviews also included their family history and other memories.
