George Harding Mortimer (1903-1998) was a Mormon lawyer.

George Harding Mortimer was born in Provo, Utah on November 18, 1903 to William John Mortimer and Mary Mariah Harding. He graduated from Brigham Young University in May 1925. From 1925 to 1928 he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Switzerland and Germany. On July 1, 1931 he married Veda Jane Porter in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They had three children.

From 1931 to 1937 Mortimer worked as an Examiner in the U.S. Patent Office in Washington DC and in 1938 he graduated from the George Washington University Law School. From 1943 to 1967 he worked for the Colgate-Palmolive Company during which time he became Assistant General Counsel and Patent Counsel for the company. He later opened a private law practice in New York City where he worked from 1967 to 1980.

In 1978 his wife Veda died; the following year he married Adele McCollum; they separated and eventually divorced; in 1987 he married Rosalie Rebollo Pratt. Rosalie had two children from a previous marriage, Francesca Rebollo Lawson and Alessandra P. Jones, and both George and Rosalie enjoyed spending time with family as well as traveling and working. Mortimer died February 22, 1998. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, George H. Mortimer served in a variety of Church callings, including: Bishop, Stake President, Regional Representative, and Patriarch.
