Scope and Contents

Contains a copy of both Bunnell's diary and her father's journal (George Melbourne Potter) from 1905 to 1994. History details her birth, early years, her return to the United States, her life as a grandmother, her travels, and the passing of her husband. Also included is a short history of Bunnell's life after 1994 until she died in 2001. Contains her patriachal blessing. Photographs show Bunnell, family members, family house, scenes from Iran, and family reunions. Included are educational certificates and obituary. This work was transcribed by a granddaughter, Caro Tarullo.

Biographical history

Bunnel was born and raised in Idaho. In 1929 she married LeRoy Bunnell with whom she had three children. In 1952, she and her husband were asked to spend five years in the Middle East, chiefly Iran, offering agricultural services to the government and the regional farmers. In her later years, Bunnel live in Utah, and she was an active member of the LDS Church throughout her life.
