Scope and Contents

Handwritten letter dated 31 Aug. 1945 and addressed to Manuel W. Goodman of Brooklyn, N.Y. The second leaf of the letter is missing, so the item is not signed. Kurzrok writes about playing tennis and meeting Lt. Gen. James Doolittle. Kurzrok was impressed with Doolittle and called him a "very regular guy." Also included is the envelope in which the letter was sent.

Kurzrok was a Lt. Commander in the United States Navy Reserve serving in San Francisco, California. He died in 1994 or 1995.
