Biographical History

The Platts were a Mormon family in Arizona. The family is descended through William Lester Platt (1885-1949) and Iris Hamblin Platt (1881-1945). William Platt worked as a cattle inspector, deputy sheriff, and county assessor in Apache County. Together they had six children: Lydia Cecilia, William Lester Jr., Lorene, Vernon Henry, Joyce, and Sheldon Hamblin.
