Biographical / Historical

Heaton Lunt (7 March 1888- 19 September 1969), son of Henry and Sarah Ann Lunt, was born in Mocassin Springs, Arizona, while his family journeyed to the Mormon Mexican colonies. During the Mexican Revolution, he was among five Mormon scouts assisting General John J. Pershing find Pancho Villa. He returned to his family in 1917, and established a ranch in Virden, New Mexico.
