Photocopies and typescripts of correspondence of various Mormon bishops scattered throughout the Great Basin with Edward Hunter as Presiding Bishop of the Mormon Church in Salt Lake City, Utah. Also included are miscellaneous items relating to the Hunter family.

Tanner, currier, surveyor, and farmer who joined the Mormon Church in 1840 and served as Presiding Bishop (1852-1883) for that faith.
