Administrative History

In 1860 members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints built the Provo Fourth Ward schoolhouse on the corner of 100 East and 100 North in Provo. The schoolhouse was used for church services as well as educational purposes until 1866 when a chapel was contructed for the congregation. The ward has continued in existence since its beginnings in the mid-1800s although the location of their meetings has changed.
