Scope and Contents
Contains two original manuscripts from the show “It Takes a Thief,” specifically the episode "A Matter of Royal Larceny," (Season 1, Episode 15, originally aired April 23, 1968), as written by Tony Barrett and directed by Michael Caffey. Both scripts belonged to Henry Wilcoxon, who guest-starred as Prime Minister Garth in the episode. Scripts are dated February 15, 1968, with a series of revisions listed until March 22, 1968. The first copy, labeled "Henry Wilcoxon," contains Garth's part underlined in red. The second is inscribed "Role of Garth," with other notes on the front. "It Takes a Thief" is an American action-adventure television series that aired on ABC for three seasons. It starred Robert Wagner in his television debut as thief Alexander Mundy, who works for the United States government in return for prison release.

Biographical / Historical
Tony Barrett (birth name Martin Lefkowitz) was born on May 24, 1916, in New York City, New York. He was an actor, screenwriter and producer, contributed to a range of radio, television, and films projects. He was known for Mod Squad (1968), Impact (1949) and Peter Gunn (1958). Tony was married to Stephanie Nordli. He died on November 16, 1974, in Los Angeles, California.

Henry Wilcoxon was born September 8, 1905, in Dominica, British West Indies. He was an actor and film producer. He is known for his work in Cecil B. DeMille's movies, including "Samson and Delilah" and "Cleopatra." Wilcoxon died March 6, 1984, in Los Angeles, California.
