Collection contains materials relating to the creation of various Tryst Press letterpress manuscripts, including metal plates, negatives, galley proofs, drafts, manuscript samples, and sketches of artwork for the books. Manuscripts include scripture selections, poetry from Leslie Norris, and other selections. Also includes company records such as notes, advertising materials, and emails. Materials dated 2000-2020.

Biographical / Historical

Tryst Press was established in 1993 in Provo, Utah, by Robert and Georgia Buchert. Tryst Press published limited editions of books and poetry collections, specially printed using handmade paper, handset type, woodcuts, and other relief techniques to create books that were works of art in their own right.
