Contains a compact disc recording of a Brigham Young University guest lecture given by Peter Vel on October 26, 2006, on the topic of the Dutch resistence in World War II. Presumably speaking to a history class, Peter speaks of his life in the Netherlands and his involvement in the conflict.

Biographical History
Peter Vel (1920-2007) was a fighter in the Dutch resistance during World War II.
Peter Vel was born the May 31, 1920, in Beverwijk, North Holland. When he was 18, he enlisted to serve in the Dutch East Indies Army, but was turned away. However, not long after that war broke out and Germany invaded the Netherlands. Until the end of the war, Peter fought with the Dutch resistence against the Axis powers. In 1952, he immigrated to the United States and lived in Utah until his death in 2007.
