Biographical History
G. C. Richard Galloway (1918-2005) was a World War II veteran from Idaho.
George Curtis Richard Galloway was born on January 28, 1918 in Shelley, Idaho to George Curtis Galloway and Sarah Ann Maples. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Alabama and South Carolina. On June 2, 1942, he was drafted into the military and volunteered as a flight engineer on a B-17. After his military service he married Lois LaRue Brown in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 25, 1945. Together they had five children.
Later in life the Galloways served missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah, Missouri, New Zealand, and Niue. G. C. Richard Galloway died on July 25, 2005 in Meridian, Idaho.
Biographical History
Lois B. Galloway (1927-2010) was a civilian during World War II and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was born Lois LaRue Brown on February 12, 1927, in Weiser, Idaho to Scott Brown and Edith Elvira Hill. She and her family moved to Boise, Idaho in 1942, where she met G. C. Richard Galloway in 1945. They were married on June 25, 1945 in Salt Lake City. The couple had five children.
Lois and G. C. Richard Galloway later served missions together in Utah, Missouri, New Zealand, and Niue. Lois B. Galloway died on July 13, 2010 in Lehi, Utah.

Custodial History
Lois B. Galloway gave the audio cassettes to her daughter, Susan LaRue Galloway, who gave them to her son J. Gordon Daines III. J. Gordon Daines III donated them in 2016, and the CDs and transcript were created by L. Tom Perry Special Collections at his request.
