Biographical History

Tom Mould is a professor at Elon Univerisity in North Carolina.

Tom Mould is a professor of Sociology and Anthropolgy at Elon University in North Carolina. Mould received his B.A. in English Literature from Washington University. Mould received his M.A. in Folklore from Indiana University, and his Ph.D. in Folklore from Indiana University. His areas of study include North American Indians, Mormons, pottery collectors, and welfare recipients. Mould is the author of three books--Choctaw Prophecy: A Legacy of the Future(2003), Choctaw Tales(2004), and Still, the Small Voice: Revelation, Personal Narrative and the Mormon Folk Tradition(2011). Mould is also the co-editor of two more books--The Individual and Tradition (2011) and Latter-day Lore: Mormon Folklore Studies (2013).
