Biographical History

A. L. Sowards (born 1980) is a Mormon author in Utah.

Amanda Louise Grant was born in 1980 in Atlanta, Georgia to Finley and Hilda Grant, and grew up in Moses Lake, Washington. She attended Moses Lake High School, and participated in local swim teams. She then attended college at Brigham Young University, where she swam for the university swim team and studied Political Science and English. She married Joseph A. Sowards, and is the mother of twins. She turned to creative writing, publishing her first novel in 2012. She and her family currently reside in Utah.
