Collection includes 98 lantern slides, some hand colored, collected by William F. Hanson. The slides include images of the Ute Indians of Colorado and Utah, scenes from Hanson's operas, and nature scenes.

Biographical / Historical

William F. Hanson (1887-1969) was a opera composer and a member of the music faculty at Brigham Young University. He was particularly interested in Native American culture.
