Sears early Mormon artists photographs, circa 1900-1950s collection contains 139 photographs and 46 negatives (in oversize negative drawer) of Jack Sears and his artwork, Mahonri Young's family and artwork, and Lee Greene Richards and his artwork.

Biographical / Historical
Sears was a Mormon artist. He was a contemporary and lifelong friend of Utah artists Mahonri Young and Lee Greene Richards. He founded the University of Utah's commercial art program. He was best known as an illustrator and cartoonist.
