Scope and Contents note

Photographer unknown. Also includes half of William Henry Jackson's business card for Mowrey's Studio in Rutland, Vermont and a poem penned probably by Jackson at his betrothal in 1864. The poem is dated September 5, 1864 and reads "Now all young men take pattern by this / And soon obtain its same sweet bliss / For Caddie's now a blooming bride / With Willie standing by her side." The ambrotype of Caddie was found among his things at his death.
