General Note
Cover made of thick cardboard printed in a pattern of arches grouped in rows. Bound with red, labeled on the front cover with a small piece of paper which reads "Book 17 O. B. Huntington's Journal" and measures 3 cm x 9.5 cm. Pages made of thick, off-white, blue-lined paper. Includes 180 numbered pages, several newspaper clippings and magazine articles have been pasted into the journal, as well. Newspaper clippings line the front cover.
General Note
Diary written by Huntington between 1887 and 1895. Entries include information on his beekeeping, Church and temple service, and travel to CHicago, Illinois and New York. Describes his work on placing a monument for Mormon pioneers at the Mount Pigsah Cemetery, and includes pasted newspaper clippings on this effort. Also includes reminiscent accounts of the teachings of Joseph Smith. Contains references to John Taylor, Philo Dibble, Wilford Woodruff, Abraham O. Smoot, Orson F. Whitney, Lorenzo Snow, George Q. Cannon, Joseph F. Smith, Emmeline B. Wells, and John Smith.
