Scope and Contents note

This project is a collection of folklore from the collector's family. The analysis discusses how folklore strengthens the identity of family members as well as providing knowledge. Stories collected are primarily about the collector's mother. The collector divides the collected items into two main categories: accidents and crazy things the collector's mother has done. Also, the items center around two main events in the family: a face burn and "torticullus." Also contains some printed photos of some of the members' of the collector's family. Collected by Alyse Smith, Dr. Rudy's ENGL 391 class, Fall 2007.
