Scope and Contents note

Hanson records of the experiences of both of his grandfathers while they were in the armed forces during World War II. He includes personal experiences of Lowell Odell Nutting, who served in the European theater of the war as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Air Corps. Hanson mentions Nutting's service at Normandy on D-day, his work as a secret glider spy, and his receipt of the purple heart, among other awards. Hanson also describes the experiences of Lloyd Hanson, who served in the Pacific theater of the war as a navy medic. Hanson recalls both of his grandfathers having nightmares about the war throughout their lives. Created by Abraham Lloyd Hanson when he was enrolled in Eric Eliason's English 391 course in Winter 2005.
