Report by Brigham Young University folklore student Clarissa Anderson, who heard the story from an unknown source in 1994. In the story a Mormon prophet receives threats that a temple is to be stormed and its records destroyed. Coming to the temple in disguise to check on it, he finds it filled with dark-skinned men armed with spears, who greet him by name. They are warriors from the Book of Mormon, guarding the temple.
