Scope and Contents note
Report by Utah State University folklore student Gerald Hall, who collected information from Charles Sawyer. A young girl sleeping over at a friend's house hears the door open and footsteps coming up the strairs, followed by a woman screaming and a gunshot. She wonders why her friend doesn't wake up at the sound. The next morning she asks about it and her friend says that it happens every night. Several years ago, the previous owner of the house came back to find his wife in bed with another man and shot him.
