Scope and Contents note

Report by Brigham Young University folklore student George Lowe. A statue of the Virgin Mary will speak if an individual or group circles the statue three times at night while repeating 'Lady Mary, Lady Mary, what do you have to say?'. She will reply with 'I say nothing, nothing, nothing at all'. Some report her eyes glowing or bleeding after the chant.
