The LDS Family Life Oral History Project was conducted by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies in 1981 and 1982.

The LDS Family Life Oral History Project was conducted through the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies as a control group for the LDS Polygamy Oral History Project. One hundred and forty-nine people were interviewed about life in Mormon monogamous families around the turn of the twentieth century. Interviews were later used in "Mormon Polygamous Families: Life in the Principle"; ​"Polygamous and Monogamous Mormon Women"; "Women in Utah History: Paradigm or Paradox?"; and "Women's Life Cycles, 1850-1940."
