Administrative History

The San Rafael Swell Oral History Project was conducted by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies from 1977 to 1981.

The San Rafael Swell Oral History Project was conducted through the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies by Dee Anne Finken. Eleven people were interviewed about land form names and basic history, which was prepared for the Bureau of Land Management. The San Rafael Swell is a geographic feature in east-central Utah.
