The Posey War Oral History Project was conducted by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies from 1972 to 1976.
The Posey War Oral History Project was conducted through the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies by Michael Hurst. Nine people were interviewed about an "Indian War" between the Mormons in San Juan County, Utah, and a small band of Paiutes led by Posey during the 1920s.
