Scope and Contents

Contains autograph albums with signatures dated approximately 1882-1937, including autographs of notable Mormon figures such as Karl G. Maeser and Lorenzo Snow. Also includes a watercolor painted by Rhoda R. Dougall, a paper she wrote during World War I, and a Bill of Particulars concerning her deceased husband's accounts from her cousin and attorney Arthur V. Watkins, a former United States Senator. Materials dated approximately 1882-1937.

Biographical History

Rhoda R. Dougall (1868-1956) was a Mormon woman in Utah.

Rhoda Rebecca Groesbeck Dougall was born on November 16, 1868 in Springville, Utah, to parents Nicholas Harmon and Rhoda Sanderson Groesbeck. She received her education in the Springville schools and attended Brigham Young Academy in Provo, Utah. She married Hugh M. Dougall, Jr. on November 25, 1891, and together they had one daughter. She was an active club member and was affiliated with the Red Cross during World War I.

Dougall died on October 2, 1956, in Springville, Utah.
