Scope and Contents

Letter from Sigmund Heilner to Clara Heilner. Sigmund writes from his warehouse at the train depot as he says he can see the train coming. This was a major event in Baker City, Oregon every day. Every train stopped in Baker to fill the steam engines with water. Dated August 4, 1885. Also contains a transcription of the letter.
