Scope and Contents

Letter from David Heilner to Sigmund Heilner and Seligmann Heilner. The brothers are now in Sparta, Oregon, a small mining town in the Eagle mountains of Eastern Oregon where the brothers are building a store. David has become engaged to Friederika Oppenheimer of Mannheim. Dated February 9, 1873. Also contains a translation of the letter.
