Leonardo Picenardi deed, 1443
Scope and Contents
Deed of Leonardo Picenardi for the division of property to his heirs. The land, or place of birth, was to be judiciously divided into four parts by the first man. The deed specifically states the division of land in terms of types of vegetation. The lands is split equally by fruit, trees, and vineyards. The deed was notarized in a Lombardy public court of law by Johan Baptista, the brother of Stefano in 1498.
