Scope and Contents

Two typewritten and signed letters, dated 17 Oct. 1902 and 3 July 1903, and addressed to "Dear sir" and to "My Dear Friend." Anthony recommends the fourth volume of the "History of Woman Suffrage."

Also included is a handwritten and signed letter, dated 13 March 1901, and addressed to "Dear Sir." Anthony states it would be helpful if the "History of Woman Suffrage" and the "Biography of Susan B. Anthony" were available in libraries so "the students of all your schools can have access to them."

Also included a handwritten and signed note, dated Januray 1901 which states, "That the New Century, if not the New Year--May see the establishment of perfect equality of rights for women--civil and political--social, religious--educational & industrial--is the hope--nay the faith of Susan B. Anthony."

With the collection are three autographs of Anthony and an envelope used to send a letter.
