Scope and Contents

Diary entries written by Huntington between August 21 and August 29, 1846. Entries describe a portion of his voyage by ship to England to serve as a missionary. Descriptions are given of the various classes on the ship, ship's rules, and the conditions of the berths for the passengers in steerage.
