Materials include non-religious writings by Orson F. Whitney, alphabetically organized and titled with the letters P through W. They include talks and essays about poetry, history, education, writing, gender, politics, and woman's suffrage. There is a copy of his speech supporting equal suffrage given at the Utah Constitutional Convention of 1895, article about writing from the Improvement Era in 1924, and a talk given at general conference in 1924. Dated approximately 1895-1924.
