Scope and Contents
Materials include letters from Orson F. Whitney to his parents, Helen Mar Kimball Whitney and Horace K. Whitney, and to his brother, Charles Spaulding Whitney. The letters from 1877 to 1878 contain information about experiences he had in the Eastern States mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The letters from 1883 contain information and experiences Whitney had as a missionary in Europe for The Church of Latter-day Saints. There are also parts of various letters without a date. Dated August 9, 1877-April 10, 1883.
