Scope and Contents

Three bound volumes titled "Pamphlets," dated 1984-1926. Most of the pamphlets cover religious topics of interest to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). Topics include Mormon doctrine, the priesthood, the Book of Mormon, the history of the LDS Church and Utah, missionary work, and the Southern States Mission.

Biographical History

Alice M. Rich (1869-1942) was a Mormon woman in Utah.

Alice McLachlan Rich was born on February 26, 1869, to parents William McLachlan and Caroline Filer. Alice Caroline McLachlan sang in the Tabernacle Choir from 1891 to 1893, and on October 4, 1899 became a plural wife of Ben E. Rich. She served a mission for the Church in 1900. Ben passed away in 1913, leaving Alice with at least one son, Francis Rich. She died on March 24, 1942.
