Biographical History
Kirsten Marie Sorensen Jensen (1868-1963) was a Mormon woman in Idaho.
Kirsten Marie Sorensen Jensen was born January 12, 1868 in Dastrup, Denmark, to Mads and Kirsten Sorensen. In 1874, she migrated to the United States to travel to Utah to be with the majority of the Latter-day Saints. Upon arriving in Utah, her family moved to Orderville, Utah, where she met Louis Reuben Jensen. They were married in Saint George on December 18, 1885. Marie and Reuben had eleven children. Marie lived to be 105 years old, and died June 17, 1973, in Shelley, Idaho.
