Dennis G. Heiner (1943- ) was born August 18, 1943 in Ogden, Weber, Utah. Graduated from Weber State University (B.A.), BYU (M.A.), and Harvard (M.A.).

Grant Heiner (1914-1978) was born March 12, 1914 in Stoddard, Morgan, Utah, died April 22, 1978 in Austin, Travis, Texas to Royal Oscar Heiner and Wealtha Porter, and married Mary Stoker October 4, 1938 in Salt Lake, Utah. Grant served in the Navy during World War II. He was Civil Engineer at Hill Air Base.
