Biographical History

Joseph Barnard Romney (1935-2012) was an author from Utah and a grandson of Junius Romney.

Joseph Barnard Romney was born July 20, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Junius Stowell and Ruth Stewart Romney. He attended the University of Utah where he received his J.D. and Ph.D. Romney was a professor at California Polytechnic State University and Brigham Young University-Idaho. Romney later wrote a book about his grandfather, Junius Romney, and the Latter-day Saints exodus from the colonies in Mexico. Romney married Florence Black and they were the parents of four children. He passed away October 6, 2012 in Provo, Utah.
