Clarissa Harden Wilhelm diary, 1882-1895
Scope and Contents
Ledger book containing 1) an autobiographical account of the life of Clarissa Harden Wilhelm from birth to the present, with Preface (February 26, 1820-February 12, 1888), about 50 pages; 2) a 2-page "Statement of Account", dated July-September 1882, written in the middle of the autobiography (apparently from her time managing the Co-op Store in Concho, Arizona--see note on photocopy in transcription); 3) her daily journal, dated April 1, 1888-November 7, 1895 (including a period of about six months in 1894 when she was so sick that she could only write the very briefest of updates about once a week, sometimes only once a month), 192 pages; and 4) a personal account of "Work done" in January 1894, written inside the back cover. Materials dated 1882-1895.
