Handwritten diary kept by Duke from August 23, 1852 to May or June 1857. There is a gap between the end of 1852 and January 1856. Most of the diary is for 1856 and 1857. Details his family life, including with his plural wives, and his time as bishop and justice of the peace of Provo, Utah.
