Partial diary kept by Duke from 1850 to 1855. First pages are missing. Entries begin shortly after arriving in the Salt Lake Valley in September 1850 and end on 22 January 1856. Includes descriptions of early settlement in Provo in 1851 and being called as the first Bishop in that city in 1852.
